Redback Boots | Natural Boot Wax
Specially formulated from natural ingredients including bee's wax and oils.
Regular applications of Redback boot wax will greatly extend the lifespan of your leather boots. It also helps to maintain the natural moisture resistance of the leather, helping to keep your feet dry and warm, (Please note this is not suitable for the UBCH Crazy Horse boots as it will darken the leather).
Directions for use: thoroughly clean leather using warm, lightly soapy water and a sponge or soft brush. Allow the boots to air dry fully. Do not expose them to a heat source as this will eventually make the leather tough and brittle. Once fully dry, apply a small, pea-sized amount of the polish to the boot, using a clean cloth/polishing rag. Spread evenly and rub in the wax until it is no longer visible. The wax should be applied several times a year, or more with heavy use.
Redback boot wax has been specially formulated to be used in conjunction with Redback boots, although it can be used with other leather footwear.

Redback boots are sized to official UK sizing guidelines therefore, please order your normal UK size. Yes, the boots are "generously" proportioned to allow for the wearing of a thick pair of socks.
If you would like an extra wide fitting, then please select one of our half sizes, if available. So for example, if you are a UK size 10 but you require a slightly wider fit, then please select size 10.5. Each half size adds 5mm to the width of the boot but does not add length i.e. size 10.5 is wider than size 10 but it offers no additional length.
This size guide was designed to act as a useful starting point in finding the right size of footwear for you. Ideally, for best fitting practice, you should try the boots on in person. If you are unable to do this, then please buy your normal UK shoe size. We have a simple returns procedure so should you require a different size then please get in touch with us. Unfortunately, we do not offer free returns if you have ordered the wrong size or style.

Here are two ways to make sure you get the right size boot. Redbacks are sized in UK sizes and are a G width fitting and can be on the generous side.
Method 1
Imagine your foot suspended in the boot from the ankle. Imagine a half-centimetre gap surrounding your foot, top, bottom, sides, back and front. This gap is then partly filled by a loop-stitch walking sock. You must still have room for your foot to expand about a quarter of a size during a day’s walk.
Method 2
Push your foot forward in the boot until you feel your toe at the end. If you can easily insert your index finger down the back of the heel the boot size should be correct. Wear the boots indoors on a carpet for twenty minutes or so to satisfy yourself the fit is correct before you go outdoors. We are happy to exchange footwear which hasn’t been used.
